Post Graduate Education
Continuing Education - the College offers continuing education courses designed to provide practicing dentists with opportunities to continue their education. Courses are designed to provide both didactic and clinical instruction in new methods and techniques.
Dental Medicine Residency - postdoctoral education programs in endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and orthodontics.
Dental Medical Scientist Training Program (DMD/PhD) - dual degree Dentist Scientist Training Program (DSTP) begins with 1 year of dental school, followed by ~4 years of research, and then the final 3 years of the dental school curriculum.
PhD in Oral Biology and Pathogenesis – Ph.D. students complete the interdisciplinary first year curriculum offered by the College of Graduate Studies before participating in advanced coursework and research training in oral health-related topics.
MS in Oral Sciences – M.S. students can choose between a thesis or non-thesis track which include general and advanced coursework in oral health related topics and completion of an independent research project.
