Dr. Ferguson graduated in 1964 from St. Louis University and earned his D.M.D. degree from the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in 1969. He completed a two-year Oral Medicine Residency at the National Naval Dental Center, Bethesda, Maryland in 1983 and achieved diplomate status in the American Academy of Oral Medicine in 1988. Dr. Ferguson joined the faculty in 1995, following 25 years in the U.S. Navy and is presently the Director, Division of Oral Medicine. Outside interests include golf, music and attending his childrens' sports events.
