Biography
Dr. Kobes is a 1964 graduate of the University of Illinois Dental School. He completed a fellowship in prosthodontics at the Naval Dental Clinic, Newport, Rhode Island in 1970 and a residency in prosthodontics at the National Naval Dental Center, Bethesda, Maryland in 1977. After serving 34 years in the United States Navy, he retired and joined the faculty at MUSC in 1998.  He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and American Dental Association. He is active in undergraduate dental education.
