Dr. McGill is a 1975 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine and a 1978 graduate of the University of South Carolina. He has twenty-nine years of private practice experience in family dentistry. He joined the School of Dentistry's Faculty in 2004 as a part time Clinical Instructor and is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. Academic interests are undergraduate dental student education, as well as, developing teaching methods to enhance the Fixed Prosthodontics curriculum. He is working with other faculty members to incorporate CAD CAM dentistry into the Restorative Dentistry curriculum. He maintains an intramural practice in the College of Dental Medicine's Dental Faculty Practice.
Outside interest include family, woodcarving and his West Highland White terriers.
