Dr. Pilcher received her DMD. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 1981. She practiced eight years in Public Health Dentistry and joined the full time faculty of the College of Dental Medicine in 1989. She achieved Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Pilcher's special interests are the development and analysis of web based dental education programs and research into dental diamonds. She also serves on Developmental Disabilities boards and lectures on dental care of patients with Down syndrome. She mantains an intramural practice in general dentistry. |
