Dr. Sanders is the Dean of the College of Dental Medicine. He is Professor in the College of Dental Medicine and Associate Professor in the College of Health Professions. He received his dental degree from Georgetown University and his certificate in Periodontics from the National Naval Dental School in Bethesda, MD. He is Diplomate in the American Academy of Periodontology, and Fellow in both the American College of Dentistry and International College of Dentistry. Dr. Sanders served in the Navy for over 20 years. He is a member of OKU (Honorary Dental Fraternity) and named in Who's Who in Dentistry. His research focuses on the relationship of diabetes and periodontal disease and he maintains a practice limited to Periodontics within the College's Dental Faculty Practice.
