Biography
Dr. Jompobe “Joe” Vuthiganon is a 2002 graduate from Duke University and a 2009 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. After receiving his DMD degree, he returned to North Carolina for a year in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UNC-Chapel Hill. Glad to be back at MUSC, Dr. Vuthiganon is the course director for Dental Materials and Independent Projects. He also maintains an intramural practice in general dentistry in Dental Faculty Practice. Outside interests include the performing arts, fitness, and Disney, especially the theme parks.
