Advanced Education in General Dentistry
The AEGD clinic provides comprehensive dental care for patients registered with the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program. The practitioners in the clinic are licensed dentists who have been selected for a year of advanced training in dental primary care. They work in conjunction with a group of full time faculty from the College of Dental Medicine, all of whom have had postgraduate training and extensive clinical experience themselves. The fees are generally 20-25% below those in the surrounding community. Individuals may choose to become a patient in the program after they have had an opportunity to meet with one of the faculty members and residents to discuss their needs.
