Each year MUSC employees support more than 1,300 funds around campus that provide some of the little things that make life better for our patients.
Their contributions provide emergency diabetes treatment kits, art supplies for hospitalized children and labs for a free occupational and physical therapy clinic. Last year the MUSC family contributed more than $300,000 to these and other worthy projects through the YES Campaign, which stands for Yearly Employee Support.
This year’s campaign kicks off in just a few days, so we wanted to give you a peek inside. You’ll meet Malika, a young mother and stroke survivor who relies on a YES fund for transportation to her therapy sessions. And you’ll meet Dee, a human resources manager and YES Campaign contributor who credits MUSC doctors with saving her life.
As always, thank you for supporting our mission and for helping to make these stories possible.
