Verizon Wireless Contributes to College of Dental Medicine
Verizon Wireless donated $50,000 to the MUSC College of Dental Medicine in celebration of the opening of its new call center in North Charleston on February 28.
Director of Customer Service Jeremiah Knight, said the gift represents his company's dedication to improving the resources available to citizens of the community. The gift will go toward construction costs for the new James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine. Interim Dean John Sanders thanked representatives of Verizon for the generous gift that will help provide a clinical facility to not only educate new dentists but also to provide low-cost dental treatment for people in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
