Mark Daniels
Oversees systems integration, information exchange and data warehouse. His responsibilities include project management, as well as implementation and operation support for various clinical systems at MUSC. Prior to joining MUSC in 1992, Mark was a software engineer with The BDM Corporation and GE Information Services.Mark holds a BS in Computer Science from the College of Charleston and a MS in Computer Science.




Jeff Burdick

Originally obtained a BS in Medical Record Administration, followed by achieving his registry (RRA back then, now called RHIA). He has over 35 years of experience managing a wide variety of projects related to health information systems. He is currently working in a Senior Analyst role with the EDW he helped to implement at MUSC.






Stan Flowers

Over 14 years of experience at the Medical University in Finance and Administration/Clinical Warehouse.  He currently works on the Enterprise Data Warehouse and holds a MicroStrategy Document Developer Certification.






Crystal Floyd

Has 15 plus years in Information Technology mostly in the banking and health care industries. She joined MUSC in 2010 and is currently a Senior Systems Analysts for the data warehouse team. She has a PMP and PMI-ACP certification and can be an evangelist for the Agile Methodology.








Larry Gale
32 years of IT experience in Federal, State, military and private sector projects, focusing on software development, database implementation, systems administration and information security.  He is currently the Analytics DBA and Lead ETL Developer for the Enterprise Data Warehouse at the Medical University of South Carolina.






John Hammersly

John is a Senior Systems Engineer with the Medical University of South Carolina with over 13 years of IT experience in both Private and Federal sectors, focusing on software development, web application development, database development in SQL Server,Oracle and Sybase, and systems administration. He is currently an ETL developer for the Enterprise Data Warehouse at the Medical University of South Carolina.







Peter Plott
Obtained his BS in Computer Science, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. He is currently a Senior Systems Analyst for the Medical University of South Carolina with emphasis on database design, development, and business intelligence.  Peter has 10+ years of experience as a software engineer.  Additionally, he has 8+ years’ experience as a DBA for Sybase, Oracle, & SQL Server.

Brad Benjamin
Brad has a Masters in Health Sciences & Health Information Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. He has over 6 years of experience in Medical Record Systems. He has worked at MUSC for over 5 years and is currently a Clinical Systems Analyst. Brad has received Epic certifications for EpicCare Ambulatory, Clarity Extract Transform and Load Administration, and Clarity Data Model for EpicCare Ambulatory.




Jean Craig









John Fisher
Obtaining his BS and MS in both Computer Science, John spend his first three and a half years working for a defense contractor before coming to his dream job at MUSC. The "newbie" of the group, John has 5+ years as a software developer and is the sole iOS application programmer on the team. He also work for the ETA team and supports the Anesthesia team.





Dan Furlong

Although now committed to the Epic Enterprise Program, Dan oversaw the implementation of the data warehouse at MUSC and has worked in information systems for over 26 years, with the last 15 in healthcare systems. Dan has a BS in Computer Science, an MBA, and is now using the clinical data warehouse as the basis for his doctoral dissertation.





Pat Wagstaff
15 years of experience in critical care nursing along with 9 years of neonatal nursing in a level three center.  She has 12 years of experience in the transport of critically ill infants and children by air and ground, including 5 years’ experience in management as coordinator of the pediatric critical care transport service.  Pat also has 11years’ experience as Outcomes Manager for clinical services including neonatology, including 10 as CMS public reporting administrator for QNet Exchange. This was followed by 3 years of experience as Data Coordinator for the EDW.
