Employment Employment programs allow students to work for money to help meet educational expenses. Student employees are paid one hour's wage for each hour worked. Employment is not permitted without approval of the Dean prior to the first day of work. All employees are paid at least minimum wage. Students may not work in excess of 20 hours per week.
The Federal College Work Study Program (FWS) promotes the part-time employment of students who demonstrate financial need. FWS employees are paid on a variable pay scale. The Job Placement Guide, which is available to all FWS awardees, list specific jobs and corresponding pay rates.
