Distance-education Programs
Complaints related to college-specific concerns including academic, curricula, and professionalism complaints, are to be directed to the student’s college dean’s office.
Complaints related to University-wide concerns, including student programs, counseling and psychological services, student health, educational technology, enrollment management, library services, student accounting, and other services offered university-wide are to be directed to the Associate Provost for Education Affairs and Student Life. Please refer to the list of specific complaint types on the MUSC Student Complaint Procedures website for other available options.
The student is encouraged to attempt to resolve the complaint with the college through which the program is being offered. The student does have the option of filing a complaint about an MUSC distance-education program with the appropriate authority in the state of residence. A directory of State Authorization Agencies and Lead Contacts is available from The State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) at http://www.sheeo.org/our-members
