The Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) Program was established in 1994 as a physician assistant training program to help meet the diverse health care needs of South Carolina. The PAS program is a two-year (27 month) curriculum. Students matriculate into the program in May of each year. The students are awarded a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) degree upon completion of the program’s academic requirements. Fifteen months of didactic coursework and one year of clinical education are closely supervised by full- and part-time faculty.
Accreditation: The MUSC PAS program is fully accredited by the ARC-PA and anticipates its next validation review in March 2020
