Funds are available for stipends which are awarded to Ph.D. students according to academic merit. Applicants must be regular, full-time students. The student must be registered for a minimum of 15 credit hours in courses or research on campus during a regular semester to be considered full-time for a Dean's tuition scholarship. Any failure of the student to perform satisfactorily must be reported promptly to the dean by the chairperson of the Advisory Committee and the chairperson of the major department. Ph.D. students receive stipend support from the College of Graduate Studies Dean’s office, mentor, training grants, or scholarships/fellowships. Stipends may be supplemented at the discretion of the student’s department or program. Graduate students may inquire about the availability of loans from the Office of Student Financial Aid Services.
