Description

The objective of the program in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is to provide in-depth understanding of molecular and cellular mechanisms of human disease processes. Students may focus in research areas such as progression and treatment of cancer, gene expression in cancer and disease, and pathogenesis and molecular biology of hearing loss. Requirements

In general applicants are required to have a GPA of 3.0, a competitive GRE score, and a baccalaureate degree. Prior experience in a research lab is recommended. Additional requirements can be found at http://www.musc.edu/esl/bulletin/gradstud/.

Application Process

In addition to the application itself the applicant must complete supplemental reference materials specific to the program to which they are applying. These forms are available in PDF format within the application and are also sent through email once an application is submitted. Applicants are required to submit official transcripts from each and every post-secondary school attended and all materials must be received by the application deadline.
