Application for the Dental Medicine Scientist Training Program (DMD/PhD) - DMSTP Application
Description
This combined degree program is designed for outstanding students who wish to become dentist scientists and pursue research careers in an academic environment. The curriculum typically is completed in seven to eight years. Stipends of $22,000 per year and tuition, paid by a number of sources including a NIH/NIDCR T32 institutional training grant, are also provided for DMD/PhD students. Application Process
Those wishing to apply must complete an application to the College of Dental Medicine through ADEA via the AADSAS) first and then, the supplemental application. Applicants should complete the AADSAS application first. Only then should applicants complete the other application materials. This will allow proper tracking of your multiple application segments. The deadline for applications to the College of Dental Medicine is December 1.
All applications for the Dental Medicine Scientist Training Program must be submitted online. In addition to the application itself the applicant must complete supplemental materials specific to the program to which they are applying. These forms are provided via email once an application has been submitted.
