Federal Work Study Job Placement eBook

Federal Work Study Job Placement eBook

Dear Federal Work Study Awardee:

A world of employment opportunities awaits you. This book contains all of the Federal Work-Study positions available at the Medical University of South Carolina.

To select the perfect job, you should first determine what type of work interests you. We also encourage you to select work that reinforces or compliments your area of study.  This book is divided into four types of positions: clerical, laboratory/research, technical and student services.  Once you have chosen a job description, you should contact the supervisor and make arrangements to have an interview.

After you have been hired, you will need to make an appointment with the Federal Work-Study Coordinator to fill out the appropriate paperwork to establish you on the FWS payroll.

REMEMBER: YOU MAY NOT BEGIN WORKING UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN APPROVAL BY THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE.

Good luck with your search!
