The Academy of LDS Dentists
The Academy of LDS Dentists awards several $1000 scholarships to dental students regardless of their undergraduate major or university attended. Applicants must be Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, completed at least one year of dental school and be a member of the Academy of LDS Dentists. The ADA Endowment and Assistance Fund, Inc.
Dental students entering their second year with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum financial need are eligible for scholarships through the ADA Endowment and Assistance Fund, Inc. Students must also send a biographical sketch and letters of reference. The fund also sponsors a minority scholarship program for Black/African American, Hispanic, and Native American students. Dental Trade Alliance Foundation/Robert J. Sullivan Family Foundation Scholarship
The DTAF and Robert J. Sullivan Family Foundation are offering two $5,000 annual scholarships for third or fourth year dental students. Eligibility criteria include financial need, academic standing and history of charitable work. Applications are available at:

Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)
HPSP is for Medical and Dental school students, and it includes: 100% Tuition, Books, required fees and equipment, a monthly stipend of $2060.00, and a $20,000.00 bonus. Hispanic Dental Association Foundation
The foundation and Procter & Gamble offer awards to Hispanic students for their first year of dental school. Selection criteria include scholastic achievement, community service, leadership skill, and commitment and dedication to improving health in the Hispanic community. Students are expected to apprize the HDA of their academic progress at mid-year, and provide mentor ship to an incoming Hispanic student. National Dental Association Foundation Scholarships
The NDA and Colgate-Palmolive Company offers 2 scholarship programs for Dental Medicine students. The Joseph L. Henry Scholars offers 5 $2000 scholarships renewable for 3 additional years based on academic eligibility ( freshman only).The postdoctoral programs scholarship programs offer $10,000 scholarship support ( 2nd. 3rd and 4th year postdoctoral students only).These awards are based on academic performance and financial need.
