American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Foundation Scholarship Program

Designed to help student nurse anesthetists pursue their educational goals. Eligibility criteria include current enrollment in an AANA accredited nurse anesthetia educational program, membership in AANA, additional criteria may be specified by the individual scholarship donors. AMBUCS Scholarships

AMBUCS Scholarship Program for Therapists offers scholarships to physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology students. Awards are based on financial need.  Awards range from $500 to $1,500. Application is only available form late January to April 15 each year.  Students must be in their junior or senior year in a bachelor's degree or in a graduate degree program at an accredited institution. American Medical Technologists Scholarship

AMT offers a scholarship to Medical Technology students. Awards of $500. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope and a letter stating your educational interests and goals when requesting an application. The American Occupational Therapy Foundation Scholarships

AOTF offers scholarships to AOTA members who demonstrate a need for financial assistance and have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic ability. Eligibility criteria include personal references, curriculum director's statement and transcripts. Preview and download an application via the Internet at:

AmSECT student scholarships

Seven scholarships are available to AmSECT student members based on academic achievement in cardiac perfusion. Applications are available from the AmSECT national office. Visit : www.amsect.org for more details.

The Institute for Diversity in Health Management Minority Scholarships

This organization awards scholarships to ethnic minorities pursuing careers in health care administration. Applicants must also have a 2.5 GPA, be involved in extracurricular and community service activities, and demonstrate financial need. Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship

Offered by the American College of Healthcare Executives to provide financial aid and increase the enrollment of minority students in healthcare management graduate programs. Awards of $5,000. Students are eligible to apply if they meet the followng criteria: Student Associate of the ACHE (in good standing), a minority student enrolled full-time for the upcoming fall term, in final year or Healthcare management graduate program, demonstrate financial need, US or Canadian citizen. Applications may be downloaded from www.ache.org. Applications accepted between January 1 and March 30.

Dr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer Scholar Award for Excellence

The American Academy of Periodontology offers a $10,000 award for 3rd year Perio students who are full time. They must be nominated by their Program Director. Other selection criteria include character references, academic achievement, leadership, community service. etc. Applications are available at: www.perio.org/foundation

Foster G. McGraw Student Scholarship

Offered by the American College of Healthcare Executives to help students better prepare themselves for healthcare management. Students are eligible to apply if they meet the following criteria: Student Associate of the ACHE (in good standing), a full time student enrolled for the upcoming fall term, in final year of Healthcare management graduate program, demonstrate financial need, US or Canadian citizen. Awards of $5,000. Applications accepted between January 1 and March 30.  Applications may be downloaded from: www.ache.org

The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc. Scholarship Program

NAJA offers scholarships for graduate study in fields which address the special needs of children and youth.
Application criteria include:

  • Working or planning to work DIRECTLY with children.
  • Pursuing graduate level studies for one year in fields which address the special needs of children and youth. Graduate fields of study include, but are not limited t Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Exceptional Children, Remedial Skills Development, Hearing Impaired, Gifted and Talented, etc. Scholarships are NOT awarded for graduate work in administration or general education.
  • A U.S. citizen and a permanent resident of a state with a Junior Auxiliary Chapter: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas.
  • Planning to attend a U.S. college or university for full-time or part-time study. Applications are available online at: www.najanet.org

Future of Perfusion Scholarship

Perfusion.com offers scholarships up to $3000 to a perfusion students who's research paper shows creativity and innovation on a related topic on the future of perfusion technology. Applications are available online at : www.perfusion.com/perfusion/scholarships.asp

Sertoma International

offers scholarships up to $1,000 each for students pursuing a graduate degree in speech pathology and or audiology. Applicants must attend a program accredited by ASHA within the US and have a 3.2 gpa or better on all undergraduate and graduate coursework. Applications are available at www.sertoma.org
Application deadline: March 30.

Tarrson Regeneration Scholarship

The American Academy of Peridontology will award 2 $37,000 scholarships per year for each year of the recipient's 3 year periodontal program. The scholarship encourages research in regeneration. Applicants must have been accepted into a Periodonal program or are in their first 6 months of their periodontal program. Upon acceptance of the scholarship, the recipient agrees to teach full time for 1 year for each year that the scholarship is received. Applications are available at: http://www.perio.org/foundation
