Interprofessional Day

SECOND YEAR STUDENTS

Learning Objectives: by the end of the program, second year students at MUSC will:

  1. Identify effective approaches for error disclosure.
  2. Using a case study, practice communication of error disclosure as an interprofessional team with honesty, compassion and demonstrating respect for team member
  3. Reflect on how health professionals can work together to provide effective and efficient health care
  4. Continue to expand personal interactions and collaborations across MUSC’s six colleges

General Introduction

FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

Learning Objectives: by the end of the program, new students at MUSC will:

  1. Know several students from another profession and college
  2. Name and describe the role of other professions at MUSC
  3. Be able to explain how all the professions interact and where they fit in the health care system
  4. Recognize the value of an interprofessional team approach to health care
