MUSC Student Handbook

MUSC Student Handbook

The Medical University of South Carolina Student Handbook is managed by the Office of Student Programs.  The handbook provides basic information about student services, facilities, campus activities and organizations, the MUSC Student Government Association, and university policies and procedures.  It is to be used in conjunction with your college’s handbook and the Bulletin of the Medical University of South Carolina.

Although the handbook is filled with useful information, it cannot take the place of talking with someone in person or on the telephone when you need assistance.  The “Quick Reference” section should direct you to the right resource, or you may call the Office of Student Programs, 792-2693.

Many thanks to everyone who helped us compile information as of June 2013.

Your comments and ideas on content and format are welcome.  Please contact the Office of Student Programs, 792-2693.

Disclaimer:  The policies and procedures recited in the MUSC Student Handbook reflect the most current policies and procedures of the university but are subject to amendment and change without notice.  Students are responsible to check the university’s web site periodically for posted changes and shall be bound by all such amendments and/or changes.

The Medical University of South Carolina does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or marital status in the administration of admission policies, educational policies, financial aid, or any other university activity.  For further information, contact Wally Bonaparte, Director of the Office of the EEO/AA Charleston, South Carolina 29425, (843) 792-1568.
