Faces of MUSC
“If only we had a photo of...” This thought is frequently repeated on campus, and often the perfect moment has already passed. Many times, conditions such as bad backgrounds or poor lighting can create an undesirable photograph. In cases such as these, MUSC needs a group of willing “models” to stage shots in a studio or on-location settings. Participants should be willing ambassadors of our university, and be comfortable in front of the camera. By using a spectrum of students, MUSC would be able to reflect our diversity. It is our goal to offer a beneficial opportunity for both students and the university. Our aim is to be able to call upon participants who match up to the specific needs of a certain shot or group of images. Proper scheduling for both students and staff will be of utmost importance. When a need arises, participants matching the needs of the project will be contacted and scheduled to photograph. Acceptance into the Faces of MUSC program does not mean that every participant will be called for every shoot, merely that their image and willingness to get involved will be available to our media outlets. Selected images may also be made available to those participants featured in them. For more information, contact Digital Imaging at 792-4730.
