Production Services
Our primary mission is to provide the MUSC community with professional quality video for use in their presentations. Whether on Videotape, CD, DVD or the Web professionally produced video can make a real difference.
Production services offered by the division are extensive.
Studio Production
In our 18' X 36' studio/classroom in the Basic Sciences Building we are able to offer a wide range of services from audiotaping to live national teleconference production. Although modest in scale, our production equipment compliment can provide almost anything necessary for a professional studio production.
Location Production
We offer single and multi-camera location shooting on the MUSC campus and off-campus. From single camera classroom taping to multi-camera taping of an event at an off-campus venue we are ready to handle your location videotaping needs.
Video Editing
Video Services operates AVID and Final Cut Pro non-linear multi-format video editing systems and a Panasonic AG 850 multi-master linear editor.
Digital-Video-Digital Conversion
Through our editing systems we offer conversions of digital file formats (PPT, Quicktime, AVI, MPEG, etc.) to video and video to digital file formats.
Music and Sound Effects
The division uses fully licensed music and sound effects libraries, assuring that all productions have copyright clearance.
Master Library Housing
When you have put your time and effort into a professional product the last thing you want to hear is "Does anyone know where the master videotape is?" We offer secure longterm storage of your master tapes.
