Cotesworth Fishburne, Jr., D.D.S.

After serving for two years as Captain in the Army Dental Corps, Dr. Cotesworth Fishburne, Jr. began his dental practice in 1965 and has continued until becoming semi-retired in 2002. Dr. Fishburne's civic and professional accolades include being the Chairman of the Salvation Army Board, a former President of the Kiwanis Club, an Elder in the First Presbyterians Church, a former President of Tri-County Dental Society and Central District Dental Society, and State President of the South Carolina Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fishburne is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry. Dr. Fishburne is an original member of the FRD Board and has served for twenty-four years as an MUSC Trustree. He has three dental devices patented and one pending.
Dr. Fishburne received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College and his DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
