Specifically, gifts are used...

To heal

Your gifts help us to maintain an environment for optimal patient care, with the best facilities, scientists and technologies available. Private gifts have helped us to build many of our clinical centers of excellence, including the MUSC Children's Hospital, Storm Eye Institute and Hollings Cancer Center.

To discover

Your support helps us to find new ways of treating cancer, heart disease, blindness, kidney problems, birth defects and hundreds of other medical challenges.

To help train the next generation of health-care providers

Private gifts provide scholarships, equipment and teaching materials, classroom and laboratory renovations, expanded educational opportunities for students and alumni, emergency loans, student travel and student research.
