Hollings Cancer Center sets a new MUSC record with its annual Gourmet & Grapes fundraiser, pulling in nearly $643,000 for cancer research. 


Match day at MUSC

More than 95 percent of fourth-year medical students successfully match with hospitals through the National Residency Matching Program, beating the national average.

Our Yearly Employee Support (YES) Campaign kicks off for the 32nd year and goes on to exceed its goals by both growing the total amount raised to nearly $437,000 and increasing participation by 14 percent. 


Commencement at MUSC

Students, representing 45 states and 22 countries and ranging in age from 20 to 72, graduate from our six colleges at our 2017 commencement ceremonies.

MUSC researchers and partners across the state receive a $20 million, five-year grant from the National Science Foundation’s Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, helping with developments such as an implant that helps communicate with skeletal muscle cells to reduce scarring.
