College of Graduate Studies
Master of Science in Medical Sciences
(Program Start Date May, 2019)
The Master of Science in Medical Sciences is a one-year program specifically designed to provide students with a structured opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that will prepare them for the challenges of applying to and succeeding in medical school and other professional schools. This on-site program contains didactic coursework at the professional level, professional skills development sessions, standardized test (e.g. MCAT or DAT) preparation, and clinical exposures to form a complementary skill set to those that have been acquired at the undergraduate level.
We expect this program to enhance students’ success at medical/professional school acceptance, but please note that successful completion of this program is in no way a guarantee of an interview or acceptance into medical/professional school at MUSC or anywhere else. We regret that current regulations prevent us from offering this program to international applicants without a permanent resident visa due to its online component.
Apply to the Master of Science in Medical Sciences (available December 1, 2018 to April 15, 2019)
