Histotechnology Certificate program
Post Acceptance Requirements
Prior to initial enrollment in the program, students accepted into the program will be required to meet all immunization and health requirements of the MUSC Medical Center and/or MUSC Student Health Services which includes a health screening and a General Orientation Program. All students must provide documentation of medical and accident insurance coverage during their enrollment.
Students will be provided a copy of the MUSC Medical Center Histotechnology Student Handbook during a required Histotechnology Student Orientation session held prior to the first day of class.
Students in the program are required to establish and be proficient with email utilization. Students will also be responsible for their own transportation to and from the MUSC Medical Center and other clinical sites in the Charleston area which may be used periodically as well as any parking fees incurred.
