H.4967 Signed into Law

On June 26, 2012, Governor Nikki Haley signed the Retirement Free Conference Report on H.4967, the retirement reform legislation, into law.  Member contribution rates will increase to 7.0% for SCRS, ORP and PORS participants on July 1, 2012.  For detailed changes, please review H.4967 Overview by Effective Date or Comparison of Current Statute to H.4967 Changes.
