AJ15 - Data Coordinator I
General Nature of Work:
Coordinates data collection, production, reporting and delivery.

This is the entry class in data collection, production, reporting and delivery.

Coordinates the collection, formatting and editing of data for management information reports.
Develops and revises forms used for data collection and reporting.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of data.
Coordinates system uses and operations between data processing staff and agency users.
Identifies system or equipment problems resulting in the inaccurate or incomplete production of data.
Provides user training and assistance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of computer systems.
Knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer software.
Ability to analyze complex data and data collection and develop methods to obtain accurate, useful output.
Ability to design and modify report forms.
Ability to coordinate and schedule work between user groups.
Ability to train and assist staff in use of systems.
State Minimum Training and Experience
State Necessary Special Requirements:

A high school diploma and work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information in a data processing environment.
MUSC Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma and one year work experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information in a data processing environment.
