State Specifications:
General Nature of Work:
Plans and produces visual, audiovisual or multimedia material for communication and educational projects.
Guidelines for Class Use/Distinguishing Characteristics:
This is an entry-level class for media resources professionals.
Examples of Work:

Plans and develops multimedia communications products.
Prepares instructional media and graphic art.
Prepares and presents in-service training on the operation and maintenance of audiovisual equipment and mechanical teaching aids.
Records and edits television program material from commercial and PBS network feeds and local sources.
Performs complex photography and photographic processing.
Trains technical support employees and guides them in the proper performance of their duties.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A high school diploma and professional work experience in education or information services, the media arts, advertising or photography.
