The following resources are available to assist you with an introduction to our institution.
On the day of orientation, you should park in visitor lot on Spring Street in between McDonald's and the Holiday Inn located in front of Harborview Office Tower. You will receive a temporary pass for your vehicle for the day of orientation. Parking Management will be on-site to assist you with your parking assignment (PDF) during your employment. Please bring your vehicle registration, along with any documents or forms not completed during administrative sign-up.
Please review a benefits presentation (PDF) prior to your orientation date. Benefits counselors will be available to answer any questions that you have and assist you with completion of the necessary forms. You will also need to bring social security numbers, dates of birth, and additional documentation to add dependents to insurance or select a beneficiary. Please review the list of documents (PDF) required to add dependents to your coverage.
Employees can submit a photograph to MUSC Department of Public Safety prior to orientation to streamline their check-in process. The photo must meet the following requirements for approval and be submitted no later than 12 p.m. on the Friday before the scheduled orientation:
Please email the photograph to email@example.com and include your full legal name, department name, and anticipated orientation date. (For example: Jane Mary Doe, Department of Medicine, attending orientation on 9/21/15.)
You will receive an email from MUSC Department of Public Safety confirming that your photograph has been approved.
