Cardiovascular
The cardiovascular arena provides a wide variety of exercise equipment geared for total body conditioning. Our state-of-the art equipment includes treadmills, stairclimbers, rowers, ellipticals, and bikes.

Individual cardio-theater screens are installed on over 90 pieces of cardio equipment. For strength and resistance work, we offer a complete circuit of Nautilus, a Lifefitness Adjustable Pulley, dumbbells, medicine balls, abdominal rollers, jump ropes and elastic tubing, and stability balls.
An array of supplementary equipment may be checked out at the cardiovascular desk.

Group Exercise
A variety of group exercise classes are offered seven days a week in four different studios. The main studio is 3000 square feet with a hardwood floor system developed specifically for group exercise and dance.
Certified instructors bring members the latest group exercise trends in a safe, effective and energetic setting. Offering something for everyone, styles range from Pilates and yoga classes to Zumba, Tae Bo, Body Bar and Aikido exercise classes. Guests may purchase a pass from the membership desk to participate in one of our many classes.

Running / Walking Tracks
The MUSC Wellness Center is equipped with an indoor and an outdoor running/walking track. Both tracks have soft, impact-reducing surfaces and measure six laps to a mile. All users of the indoor track are asked to run in the direction indicated by signs posted at all track entrances. Track direction is changed weekly. Shirts are required.
