Time Period: Next "Fit It In" is Fall 2009 (5 week program)

Program: “Fit It In” is a MUSC Wellness Center program exclusively for MUSC 
students.  All you have to do is be an active member of the MUSC Wellness Center or activate your MUSC Wellness Center Membership.  Students activating their membership after June 1 will also need to register (see ways to register). Next, all you have to do is workout at the MUSC Wellness Center 2 times a week or more for at least 30 minutes a session. You will be automatically entered in weekly drawings for $25.00 Visa gift card prizes as well as 30-minute massages courtesy of the MUSC Center for Therapeutic Massage. To be eligible for the $200.00 Visa gift card grand prize, you must complete the total of 10 workouts during at least 4 of the 5 weeks of the “Fit It In’ program.

Students will receive a workout credit for each session they participate in that is over 30 minutes in length.  Attendance will be verified when you handscan at any Wellness Center check-in.  There is a variety of activities the MUSC Wellness Center provides that will count as a workout credit.  Please check with the membership desk or send an email to fititin@musc.edu for questions regarding eligible workout sessions.

Ways to Register for New Users (activating membership after 6/1):

1. Go to http://www.musc.edu/hsc/students/fititin.html and complete registration.
2. Register at the registration table by Wellness Center Membership Desk
   

Contestant Categories:

1. Wellness Center Users: any fulltime Student who has activated their MUSC Wellness Center Membership prior to June 1, 2008.
2. New Wellness Center Users: Any fulltime student who has not activated their MUSC Wellness Center Membership prior to June 1, 2008.

Prize Categories:

1. Weekly prize drawing: $25 Visa gift cards for two contestants in each category (Regular User Category and New User Category) who have 2 or more exercise credits (the week of the drawing).  Students can enter the contest during any week of the competition to qualify for this drawing.
2. Weekly prize drawing for both categories: 30 minute massages courtesy of the MUSC Center for Therapeutic Massage.  One massage will be given away per week for both categories.
3. Grand Prize Drawing $200 Visa Gift Card – At the end of the 5 weeks one student from each category will win a $200.00 Visa gift card. The winner will be selected by a random drawing. To qualify for the grand prize, students must have 10 exercise credits earned over the 5 weeks.  There can be no more than one week with no credits earned.

Drawing Rules:

1. The time frame for exercising for the weekly drawing will run from Monday-Sunday of that week.
2. For the weekly cash prize drawing, every Monday morning 2 names from each contestant category will be randomly drawn out of a list of eligible contestants for that week randomly by the Wellness Center Membership staff. The weekly massage prize will also be drawn the same way except there will only be one name drawn per week for both contestant categories.
3. Winners will be announced the following day through stulife email and will be posted at the Membership Desk in the MUSC Wellness Center.
4. Winners can stop by the Office of Student Programs (792-2693) to claim their prize.
5. The Grand Prize Drawing will be done on Monday, November 3rd.  One name from each contestant category will be randomly drawn out of a list of eligible contestants by the Wellness Center Membership staff.  Winners will be announced the following day through stulife email and will be posted at the membership desk in the Wellness Center.
