Nancy L. Zisk
Nancy L. Zisk is an Associate Professor of Law at the Charleston School of Law. She is a graduate of Duke University, with a B.A. in English and Psychology, and an honors graduate of Duke University Law School. She joined the Charleston School of Law in 2004, when the school opened and she teaches Torts, Equity and Equitable Relations, and Employment Law. In 2006, she was named "professor of the year" by students and she served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2007 through May 2008.
Prior to coming to Charleston, Zisk was an adjunct professor of law at the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C., where she taught Remedies. She also has been in private practice, with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, and Ross, Dixon & Bell, both in Washington, D.C., where she specialized in employment and complex insurance coverage litigation, and as a sole practitioner in Fairfax County, Virginia.
