Dr. Paulos’ Work with Novel T Cell Immunotherapies Highlighted MUSC’s Newsroom

Teams led by Drs. Chrystal Paulos (MUSC) and Mary Jo Turk (Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center) report that the molecule CD103 is key to the long-term residence of T cells in the skin and to their anti-tumor function. This research appears in the April 14, 2017 issue of Science Immunology. An article highlighting this collaboration and its novel results was published by MUSC’s Newsroom. Their findings open up the possibility of new treatment avenues for patients with cancer.
