FAQs - Printing and Otherwise
Within the print dialogue box, first select 4th Floor Color printer from the printer drop down menu.
Windows - Printing on the lab computers is Print on Both Sides by default. If the user wants to print Single-Sided, within the print dialogue box there is a drop down menu below Print on Both Sides that allows the user to select Print One Sided.
Mac - On the Mac Side, in the print dialogue box, printing is also Duplex by default. To print Single-Sided, within the print dialogue box, the user may change this setting by selecting Copies & Pages > Layout > Two-Sided Off.
Windows - In the print dialogue box, there is a heading called Full Page Slides. In the drop down menu below this heading, the user may select Handouts, and the number of slides to print per page.
Mac - In the print dialogue box, there is a choice called, Print What? From the drop down menu below this heading, the user can select Handouts and the number of slides per page to print.
Yes, you can. In order to have your computer set up to do this, please visit the STSS desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am - 3 pm.
No, and here’s why. Due to the increasing number of wireless devices on campus, the Network Systems Team had to make a separate wireless network. The printers or GoPrint server would need to be on the same area of the network as the wireless device and due to the size of the network, it would not be able to support the vast number of wireless devices.
No, the library does not offer faxing service, but students should be able to fax documents through the Center for Academic Excellence located on the 2nd floor of the Education Center and Library building.
