Robyn Grayson

Research Interest:
I am in the Baatz lab, where I am working on a project investigating the interactions of marine-borne  toxins and surfactant lipoproteins in the mammalian lung.  The work  will focus on the mechanisms by which particular anthropogenic  chemicals induce an immune response in lung tissue exposed via  inhalation.  I am broadly interested in immunology, with the ultimate  goal of drawing significant connections between environmental research  and human health.

Awards:
Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Fellow 2010

Trainee in Oceans and Human Health Program.
