Research Interest:
I am interested in exploring the cellular and molecular processes that promote the development of an healthy ovary. In doing so, I hope to shed light on the causes and consequences of female infertility. Previous findings by our group have shown that exposure to environmental contaminants negatively impacts the reproductive health of male and female alligators. I intend to use both alligator and human samples to work out some of the unanswered questions regarding the relationship between environmental contaminants and female fertility.
