Patient Consults and Referrals

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine is committed to excellence in clinical care. With a team of nationally-renowned faculty, the division offers a wide range of clinical services including general and specialized ambulatory clinics.

To refer a patient to one of our ambulatory clinics please fax reason for referral, demographic information, clinical office notes, lab results, chest imaging reports, pulmonary function testing, any additional testing pertinent to the diagnosis and insurance information to 843-876-2057.

You may also reach our scheduling specialists by calling 843-792-9200 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm).

For referrals to the MUSC Lung Transplant Program, please click here.

For inpatient transfer requests, please call the Admit Transfer Center at 843-792-6619.

Laura Bolognue has been selected as one of the Deparment of Medicine's Employees of the Quarter

Please join us on October 23rd at 2pm in 300 CSB, as we recognize Laura & the other Employees of the Quarter.

Dr. Gerard Silvestri has been elected as the President of the American College of Chest Physicians for 2017.  The ACCP has more than 18,000 members in 100 countries

He will also be presenting the Edward C. Rosenow III, MD Master FCC/ Master Teacher Honor Lecture at this year's CHEST Conference.
