Patient Consults and Referrals

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine is committed to excellence in clinical care. With a team of nationally-renowned faculty, the division offers a wide range of clinical services including general and specialized ambulatory clinics.

To refer a patient to one of our ambulatory clinics, please complete the Patient Referral Request and fax it to 843-792-2995.  In addition to this request, please fax demographic information, insurance information, clinical office notes, lab results, chest imaging reports, pulmonary function testing, and any additional testing pertinent to the diagnosis. 

You may also reach our scheduling specialists by calling 843-792-9200 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm).

For referrals to the MUSC Lung Transplant Program, please click here.

For inpatient transfer requests, please call the Admit Transfer Center at 843-792-6619.

Farah Stokes, RN and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Team have been awarded the Leanne Storch Support Group Development Grant

This grant will be used to maintain and grow the impact of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group at MUSC, by providing funding towards meeting programming and educational materials.

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Summit 2015 is November 12-14, 2015 in Washington DC

The Summit will feature an innovative continuing medical education (CME) program for health professionals as well as provide sessions for PF patients and caregivers that address their growing educational needs.

Conference registration is currently open.
