Dr. Chitra Lal has been selected to participate in the ATS Sleep Core Curriculum for 2016

The invitations for the Core Curriculum were decided by the ATS Clinical Core Curriculum Working Group and target junior to mid-career colleagues who are regarded as dynamic and engaging teachers. Congratulations Dr. Lal!
 

Dr. Rissmiller has been selected by our Internal Medicine residents to receive the Michael E. Assey Attending of the Year Award 

Dr. Rissmiller will be receiving this award on June 3rd at the Awards Day Lunch. 
 

Congratulations to Dr. Alice Boylan on promotion to Full Professor and to Dr. Nick Pastis on promotion to Associate Professor
 

Pulmonary Fellows Dr. Brett Bade and Dr. Neeti Kandora have been selected to receive a 2015 ATS Abstract Scholarship

Both Fellows received this scholarship based on the quality of their abstract as reviewed by the Assembly on Thoracic Oncology Program Committee Chair.  

They will receive the Scholarship certificates at the 2015 Assembly Membership Meeting taking place at the ATS International Conference in Denver.
 

Dr. Nichole Tanner has been awarded the first ever 2015 ATS Thoracic Oncology Assembly (TOA) Early Career Achievement Award

This award recognizes an individual who has made the most outstanding scientific contributions in clinical, translational, or laboratory-based research relevant to the field of thoracic oncology early in his or her career. 

Dr. Tanner will receive the award on May 18th at the annual TOA Membership Meeting at the ATS International Conference in Denver.
