No forms are needed for furloughs. While compensation will be automatically reduced each month by one day, furloughs will be tracked through regular time keeping methods and the Kronos recording system.

Other resources: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides professional support to employees dealing with difficulties such as anxiety, financial and legal issues, depression, and drug and alcohol dependency. It’s a free service to MUSC/MUHA employees, and counseling is confidential. Call 792-2848 for more information on EAP or to schedule an appointment. Most employees can be seen the day of the call or the following day. EAP counselors are located at 51 Bee Street on the corner of Bee and Ehrhardt in a small one-story yellow house. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
