Vice President for Finance and Administration
The office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration provides management and leadership to the various units in the division as well as providing support to the other key missions of MUSC. The Vice President reports to the President of the University and is directly responsible for three main units: Engineering and Facilities, Finance, and Operations.
I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Presbyterian College in 1982 and earned a Master of Health Administration from MUSC in 1993. I was appointed to the position of Vice President in October 1994 and continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer for the Medical University Hospital Authority. I have held various positions with MUSC since 1991, serving on several boards and am a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Association of College and University Business Officers and the Healthcare Financial management Association.
