• Student volunteers 930 donated 18,116 hours to over 108 low country agencies
• Student Volunteers participated in over 2700 events/projects and volunteered more than 196,237 hours since 1993
• Students volunteers 273 representing all six colleges, were acknowledged for contributing at least 15 hours
• Recognition for volunteering the most hours was given to a student from each college.  Six student organizations who’s volunteer contributions within the tri-county area were exceptional were awarded the Thirteenth Annual MUSC GIVES BACK Community Volunteer Award
• The inaugural Charles H. Banov, MD Humanitarian Award honored a MUSC student who made a significant contribution locally or abroad by volunteering their time to achieve unmet community needs.
