The National Coalition Building Institute's 19th Annual Campus Conference The National Coalition Building Institute is proud to present its 19th Annual Campus Conference, hosted by the Medical University of South Carolina in historic Charleston, South Carolina.
About the Conference NCBI has been working on college and university campuses since 1988. In 2004, the NCBI campus program was awarded a best practice from the U.S Department of Education for its work on race and gender on college campuses. From 2000---2007, the NCBI campus program was housed at Columbia University. Then from 2007---2010, the NCBI campus program was housed at George Mason University. Over the years, NCBI has worked on hundreds of college campuses. The NCBI campus conference has been hosted by several NCBI campus affiliate teams over the past several years: Columbia University; North Carolina State University; Oregon State University; Emory University; Furman University.
The conference theme, Leading the Way for Transformation: Reclaiming our Courage and Compassion, captures the variety of issues and concerns surrounding campus diversity.
The Conference dates are November 17-19, 2011 and will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Charleston.

Who should attend The NCBI conference welcomes participants from NCBI campus affiliates. Participants have to be a member of an existing NCBI campus team and attended a training of trainers. For more information call 843-792-2146.
