Addiction Research Seminar Series
The NARC offers bimonthly seminars co-sponsored by the Department of Neurosciences in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry and the Specialized Center of Research (SCOR) project. The speakers are nationally and internationally recognized leaders in the field of addiction. Prior to each seminar there is a journal club meeting that discusses selected works of the speaker. In addition, there are updates for the lay public on the biology and clinical treatment of addiction. And, as a part of brain awareness week, NARC faculty also partake in special teaching sessions in primary schools in the Charleston area.
Please check this listing again as we will continue to fill this seminar schedule for the upcoming academic year.
