Leo Bonilha Laboratory
Welcome to the Bonilha Lab's website!
We are a clinical neuroscience laboratory located at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston.
Lead by our Principal Investigator, Dr. Leonardo Bonilha, we perform research to better understand and treat neurological disorders such as language impairments after a stroke (aphasia) and epilepsy. Our group is composed of graduate students, research assistants, post-docs, clinical coordinators and neurologists. Please take time to visit our personnel website and to learn more about their projects.
We are grateful for the support from the National Institutes of Health and from the American Heart Association for our research projects.
