Pediatric Neurology Residency Program
General Information
General Information: Pediatric Neurology has transitioned from the San Francisco match to the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) match. All application materials should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS).
Positions Available: All positions are offered through the NRMP match.
PGY1: Categorical training program (see details below) to begin Pediatrics training in 2013 and Pediatric Neurology training in 2015.
PGY3: Reserved (i.e. Pediatric Neurology training only) to begin Pediatric Neurology training in 2013. Applicants must have completed the preliminary training in pediatrics.
Five-year Categorical Training Program: We have a close relationship with the Pediatrics Residency Program; thus, we are able to offer a five-year categorical training program. This means that our Pediatric Neurology residents are able to complete their preliminary training at our institution. Candidates applying to the categorical position need only submit one ERAS application and one NRMP Match List (i.e. Child Neurology application/match list covers Pediatrics preliminary training and Child Neurology).
