Pediatric Neurology Residency Program
Pediatric Neurology participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Main Match. Application materials for the PGY 1 (categorical) position must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Individuals who are interested in the off-cycle (PGY4 and PGY5) positions should contact the program coordinator directly.
PGY1: Categorical training program (see details below) to begin Pediatrics training in 2014 and Pediatric Neurology training in 2016.
PGY4: To begin Child Neurology training at the PGY4 level in July 2014. Applicants must have completed the preliminary training in pediatrics, as well as one year of Child Neurology or Adult Neurology training.
PGY5: To begin Child Neurology training at the PGY5 level in July 2014. Applicants must have completed the preliminary training in pediatrics, as well as two years of Child Neurology (or one year of Adult Neurology and one year of Child Neurology) training.
Five-year Categorical Training Program: We have a close relationship with the Pediatrics Residency Program; thus, we are able to offer a five-year categorical training program. This means that our Pediatric Neurology residents are able to complete their preliminary training at our institution. Applicants need only submit a single ERAS application and NRMP match list (i.e. it is not necessary to submit a separate application for the Pediatrics portion of the training).
