Brain Tumor Action Month (BTAM) 2013
Presented by MUSC Brain & Spine Tumor Program
To date, there are No Cures for malignant brain tumors. The MUSC Brain & Spine Tumor Program aims to change that fact.
During the month of May, MUSC Brain & Spine Tumor Program hosts a series of events in Charleston, SC called Brain Tumor Action Month (BTAM). The purpose of BTAM is to raise awareness and convince others to join in the fight for an increase in funding for brain tumor research and the development of and access to better treatments. All funds raised through BTAM events and activities will go directly to the MUSC Foundation Brain Tumor Research Fund, a 501c3 charity. These funds ensure that MUSC can continue to bring the most innovative and promising treatments to its brain tumor patients through participation in world-class clinical trials and research that aims to improve the lives of those with central nervous system tumors.
Please join us in the fight to raise awareness and support research by attending one, or all, of our terrific events!
